ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Patrick McGreevy is in the private practice of behavior analysis and school psychology in Orlando, FL. Before setting up his practice in 1986 in Orlando he served as an associate professor teaching in Special Education at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. See his web site at www.behaviorchange.com. Pat earned his Ph.D. in 1978 from the Department of Special Education at the University of Kansas. His advisor, Ogden Lindsley says "Of all of my 45 doctoral students, Pat most took our strategy of using plain English to heart. He even passed out T shirts made with 'Plain English' emblazoned on the front! He put 'Plain English' in his book title." Hi all,
I just wanted to send this message to the listserv to draw everyone's attention to a fantastic book Dennis recommended to me in case there are some new people to PT who haven't read it. The book is called "Teaching and Learning in Plain English" (I ordered it from www.behaviordevelopmentsolutions.com) and I found it to be extremely helpful and engaging. I'm fairly new to this technology and now I am absolutely hooked! Once again, hats off to Patrick and Dennis, I simply can't overstate how much the book has helped!
