BACB Exam Prep

Our CBA Learning Module Series is the premier BCBA/BCaBA curriculum supplement and exam prep tool.  It is used by approximately half of the people who take the exam.  Many of our customers tell us that it is the only study tool you need.  However, we know that the Cooper, Heron, & Heward (2007) text is essential material and the other resources below can also be very helpful, depending on your strengths and weaknesses. In particular, many people have found the Mayer, Sulzer-Azaroff, Wallace (2014) book, Behavior Analysis for Lasting Change, picto be up to date and easy to understand.  

Our telephone survey data from customers who completed the CBA Learning Module Series to 100% between September 2014 and February 2015 reflects a 97.7% pass rate for first time exam takers.  Retake data included only seven individuals and three of them passed the exam. For this test cycle, the BACB reports pass rates of 61.1% and 38.0% for first time and retakers, respectively ( Unfortunately, the BACB data also included the CBA Learning Module Series users.  If there were a way to remove the CBA user data from this group, the BACB pass rates would be even lower.
